All the excitement of major league baseball is just minutes
away from hotels in the Anaheim
Convention Center and Disney®Resorts
areas. The 2002 World Champion Anaheim
Angels play ball at the newly renovated Edison International
Field located at 2000 Gene Autry Way (see Tip). What
better way to spend a spring or summer evening than relaxing
at the ballpark especially after a busy day playing at other
Anaheim attractions.
This fun
Park allows the whole family to enjoy a ballgame and not break
the bank. The Nestle Family Zone in left field
offers tickets from $5 to$9. And over in right field kids
and adults compete with interactive baseball-type games at
the Pepsi Perfect Game Pavilion. Adding to the
thrill of the game is Outfield Extravaganza
which explodes with a 90 foot high geyser and fireworks after
great plays on the field. Folks who watched the 2002 World
Series on TV got a good view of this spectacle.
Why not
come early to Edison Field, watch batting practice and seek
an autograph from one of the 2002 World Champion Anaheim
Angels. Batting practice starts two hours before
the game and autographs can be sought up to 40 minutes prior
to the start of the action.
No ballgame
is complete without a visit to the Angel Team Store to the
right of the Home Plate Gate or to one of the souvenir stands
located throughout the ballpark. Food has always been an important
part of the baseball tradition. You don’t have to look far
in this attraction to find more than peanuts and Cracker Jacks.
There are three full service restaurants including the Knothole
Club, a sports bar. In the fast food department you
can enjoy everything from burgers and hotdogs to Chinese to
pizza and much more.
Tip:
Check the
Angel’s schedule- perhaps your home team is in Anaheim
during your stay.

for challenging games, tips from the pros and favorite player
interviews.
